Tagging your blog posts is one of the best ways to get the search engines to find and rank your content, so you need to try and make your tags as relevant to the content of your blog post as possible.
Remember to include multiple word tags in quote marks and seperate your tags with commas.
If you want your practices area specific blog posts indexed in our Blogs by Practice Area directory page - a work in progess as you can see - then the rules, as such, go like this:
If you've submitted a blog with an Intellectual Property theme then tag it "Intellectual Property" (note the " " for more than one word and capital I and P) for it to be indexed under Intellectual Property.
Similarly, if it's an Employment blog then tag it Employment (note no " " and the capital E) for it to be indexed under Employment.
If in any doubt then you can copy the practice area tag from the Blogs by Practice Area directory page, just remember to use " " if it's more than one word!
You can also tag blogs with more than one practice area. If for example it covered Intellectual Property and Media, your tag would look like this "Intellectual Property", Media
Remember that tags on Defero Law blog posts will contribute to the title of the page (what you see in the browser header) - this will increase the likelihood that your content will be found based on the keywords that you would like it to be found by, so make the most of your tags!
Hope that helps.
