Claims Farming - Insurance Companies Blamed for Selling Personal Details

So Jack Straw's claims that insurance firms are selling clients’ details to personal injury lawyers for up to £1,000 doesn't come as a massive surprise, but it has left me feeling slightly depressed.

Jack, pulling out his Dictionary of Slick Politician Phrases, called it the industry’s “dirty secret” and claimed it was the reason why car insurance premiums have rocketed, despite safer cars and a drop in vehicle crime.

Law Firm Opens Up Website for Comments

Matthew Arnold & Baldwin LLP are a law firm that give us a lot more than just law, according to their website anyway. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, i'll leave that to their clients to decide, but they're certainly giving their website users a lot more than most firms offer, namely the chance to comment on all their news articles.

The firm doesn't explicitly call them blogs - they maybe lack the level of opinion required to really qualify…
