There are lots of things I would do differently if I were a probate solicitor again.
It could be saying and writing less, or staying in touch with my clients. Everyone could do things better.
Now that I’m on “the other side of the fence” (running a business, not being a lawyer), I’ve seen things from a new perspective, including confusing legal costs and the need to be more commercially aware and less risk-averse.
I’d like to share some of my experiences, plus some surprising marketing statistics and anecdotes. My colleagues and I have put it all together in the form of an e-book, called The Modern Probate Lawyer’s Manifest.
It’s concise enough to be read over a lunch-break, but we’ve tried to jam-pack it with nuggets of helpfulness.
We hope it will inspire progressive solicitors, particularly those in probate / private client teams.
You’re very welcome to download a copy, and please feel free to share among friends and colleagues. We’ve decided not to charge – it’s completely free.

Happy reading, and we’d love to hear what you think.
