As well as people lying through their teeth to their clients and selling stuff at prices way over the odds, I have recently come across some qualification inflation which is almost unbelievable. I am used to people grossly exaggerating their CVs by saying they are bottom-line focussed, entrepreneurial team players with proven leadership qualities, blah blah blah when they haven't really DONE anything much at all, but I have recently come across 2 people who wanted to link with me on linked in.
One claims to be a PhD. Isn't
The other claims to have an MBA from an institution that doesn't even have an MBA programme.
Yikes!
Am I just getting old, or is this something that really needs to be squashed? How about a website to expose this sort of thing?
